FAQ
How many sessions will I need?
The short answer is… It’s up to you!
There are many factors that determine how many sessions you may need to see the changes you’re hoping to achieve, including: the scope of your concerns, how you would like to address these concerns, unforeseen life events, your availability, and factors of cost and your level of extended health benefits. Some people gravitate towards short-term, solution focused counselling; while others incorporate counselling into their ongoing self-care and support.
No matter what is bringing you to counselling, Connor will work with you collaboratively to ensure you are receiving the help and support you are looking for.

A detailed receipt will be provided to you at the end of each session that you will use to claim the associated costs in relation to your level of coverage.
Sliding scale counselling
Connor offers sliding scale counselling for clients who may have troubles accessing mental health services due to financial reasons. The rate is based on your household income, level of insurance coverage, employment status, and Canadian residency status.
If you meet criteria for sliding scale counselling, Connor offers 10-sessions per year at a sliding scale rate between $70-$100 + GST.
Please inquire about a sliding scale counselling with Connor ahead of your initial session. Further information will be required to negotiate a rate that will work for you (ie. letter of enrolment and/or disclosure of financial/residency status).
